Salon owner Gina Conway and her team are celebrating after being shortlisted for the Training Award in the prestigious British Hairdressing Business Awards.
The finalists have been announced after two days of judging by a prestigious panel of industry experts, manufacturers and business gurus. The awards seek to reward and recognise individuals and salons that excel in the business of professional hairdressing.
Gina opened her first salon in 2001 and has since expanded to 4 London locations and a team of 100. Her philosophy is to bring joy to her clients through impeccable service, a professional, educated team and with as little impact on the environment as possible – as Gina says, she likes to leave everything more beautiful than when she found it…
Of the nomination, Gina said, “my goal is to create an innovative and inspirational atmosphere where people feel supported and can foresee a future with the company. My job is to keep the company focused on our mission and maximise any opportunities to grow and strengthen my business. I have overall responsibility for my four salons and ensure that the staff continue to deliver superior results in a competitive climate. I oversee a number of areas to maintain quality control and development but innovation and education remains at the heart of everything I do. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on Monday 8th September at The Lancaster in London.
