What are your top three favourite Aveda make up products and why?
1. Inner Light concealer – it has a nice texture, it’s long lasting and the coverage is creamy this and natural.
2. Uruku Amazonia Bronzer – It gives such a natural glow; you look like you just arrived back from a holiday!
3. Lipstick in Clover – One of my faves this everyday natural shade, enhances the natural colour of the lips giving a fresh and bright finish to the overall look.
How should I prepare my skin before applying my make up….
Regularly exfoliate the skin to ensure your skin is smooth and soft. Thoroughly cleanse the skin and spray the Bontanical Kinetics Toning Mist or a toner to the skin and let it dry. Apply a moisturiser of your choice all over and don’t forget an eye creme ensuring the eye area is always moisturized.This is extremely important.
Please share one of your top tips for creating amazing looking make up…
Before applying any of the Aveda eyeshadows, apply a veil of Tinted Moisturiser all over the lid. It is important to apply just a very thin layer without overdoing otherwise it will make the application more difficult.
Thanks to this very simple trick the colour will be a lot more intense and you will achieve a striking look as the pigments are enhanced by the base applied.
