GINA CONWAY AVEDA LIFESTYLE SALONS AND SPAS SHORTLISTED
FOR BUSINESS AWARDS
Salon owner Gina Conway and her team are celebrating after reaching the finals of the Federation of Small Businesses Awards. The salon brand has been shortlisted in two categories: Training and Development, and Real Life Entrepreneur.
The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK’s largest business campaigning group, set up to promote and protect the interest of the self-employed and small business owners. Now with over 200,000 members across the country, the FSB has set up regional awards to celebrate the best in business. A panel of 12 judges oversaw the entries and 2014 has seen the highest ever number of entries for the awards so to finalise in two categories is a fantastic achievement for the salons. Gina opened her first salon in 2001 and has since expanded to 4 London locations and a team of 100. Her philosophy is to bring joy to her clients through impeccable service, a professional, educated team and with as little impact on the environment as possible – as Gina says, she likes to leave everything more beautiful than when she found it…
Of the nominations, Gina said, “my goal is to create an innovative and inspirational atmosphere where people feel supported and can foresee a future with the company.
